Status update re: shop hours

I’ve been having trouble sticking to my regular business hours, due to a combination of medical issues and not having staff to help manage things while I need to take rest. I understand how disappointing it is for customers to come to the shop only to find it closed when there is every indication that it should be open. I am not sure how to manage this, other than updating the business hours on Google. I plan to make updates to my regular business hours in the near future.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience this creates for anyone, and deeply appreciate the patience customers have shown during this time. – Shaelen

Winter Hours 2023

Recently, I’ve had some trouble sticking to my regular business hours. This is due to a combination of medical issues that I’ve been dealing with and not having staff who can open the shop while I have needed to rest and recuperate. I understand how disappointing it is for customers to come to the shop only to find it closed when there is every indication that it should be open. I am not sure how to manage this, other than updating the business hours on Google.

I’m changing my hours effective this weekend, moving to slightly shorter hours for the winter in hopes that this change will allow me to get things back on track with the bike (and the body) repairs. Thank you for your support – Shaelen

Winter Hours
Mon/Thu/Fri: 1-6pm | Sat/Sun: 1-5pm | Tue/Wed: Closed

Service Update: August long weekend

Hello everyone. Just a quick note to say that I will be closed Monday August 4th, and won’t be booking in new repairs over the long weekend, so I can focus on work that’s already in the shop. Will be around for pickups, though. Please text or email first before dropping by. Thanks!

Holiday Closure: April 15-20

Hello everyone. Just a heads up that the shop will be closed for bike drop-offs for the upcoming Easter long weekend, but I will be at the shop catching up on repairs, and will be around for bike pick-ups. Please text or email first before dropping by! (Will also be closed the Tue/Wed after the long weekend, as per regular business hours… open again Thursday April 21st.) Thanks!

Service Update: No new repairs June 26th-July 3rd

Hello everyone. Due to a combination of staffing shortage and parts availability, there is currently a backlog of repairs that must be completed before new repairs can be brought in. That said…

The shop will not be booking in new repairs from Saturday June 26th thru Saturday July 3rd.

I’m hoping to be caught up and ready to accept new repairs as of Sunday, July 4th.  If you absolutely require a new repair to be completed during this period, it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at an expedited service shop rate.

I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may create.

I really appreciate your business and support, and thank you for trusting Crank Culture with your repairs!

May Long Weekend

Hope you’re all having a great long weekend so far… weather’s been awesome! Just a heads up, we won’t be taking in any new jobs on Monday the 24th,  but if you want to pick up your finished bike, you’re welcome to drop by – we’ll be here playing catch-up 2pm-6pm.
